Competitive bidding threshold
Public works are competitively bid under Delaware's procurement law (29 Del. C. Ch. 69); contractors bidding on jobs over $50,000 must hold a license.

Multiple-prime contracts

Prevailing wage
Under 29 Del. C. §6960, prevailing wage applies to new construction over $500,000 and to alteration, repair, renovation, or demolition over $45,000.1
Document distribution & addenda
Delaware DOT §102 requires all addenda to be posted to all bidders on the State's Bid Solicitation Directory, with any final addendum posted no later than two working days before the bid date.3
